A Taste of Home: Free coffee for our troops

Got a family, friend or neighbor serving our nation overseas? Dunkin' Donuts cares about these brave individuals as much as you and I do. That is why Dunkin' Donuts is sending free coffee to our troops stationed over in Iraq.

Dunkin Donuts has said "We are honored to help send a ?¢‚ǨÀútaste of home?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ to our troops serving overseas. In the past year, Dunkin?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Brands has shipped more than 10,000 pounds of coffee, as well as t-shirts, frisbees and other items at the request of military personnel, their families and loved ones. Our franchisees have donated an additional estimated 30,000 pounds of coffee."

Dunkin' Donuts has received an overwhelming response to its 'taste of home' campaign. So in order to continue it, Dunkin' Donuts has decided to ship 50 cases of Dunkin?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Donuts coffee per month (14,400 pounds per year). We will hold a monthly lottery to randomly select 50 military members among those requests submitted. Each will receive a case of Dunkin?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Donuts coffee.

To submit a request, go to the Dunkin?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Donuts official website, and send an email to Dunkin?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Donuts Consumer Care, including the soldier?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s name and APO address in the comment section. In the subject line, you must write ?¢‚Ǩ?ìFREE COFFEE TO SOLDIERS.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù

We will limit the offer to those who have not previously received any coffee. Please understand that because of the volume of requests, only recipients will be notified. This will be open to any military member serving overseas.

Thank you Dunkin' Donuts and its franchisees for supporting our brave men and women overseas fighting to protect our freedom.

Fun Blog! I love the layout. And the topic is near and dear to my heart…Mmmmm Purple!

I am new to blogging and wanted to check out others blogs and see what they are doing on them. How did you get the notice of blogger.com? Do your ads pay?

I live in the Washington, DC and we started a blog to highlight that over 500,000 people living in our city do not have Congressional Representation on Capital Hill. We pay taxes, fight in the Armed Forces, and serve on Federal Grand juries. However, due to a historical anachronism in the Constitution, our elected representative has no vote in Congress.

We formed a group, The Stamp Act Congress to spread the word about this injustice. Our main protest is to stamp money with our slogan, “Stamp out Taxation without Representation in Washington DC!” Its been a lot of fun to do, and we hope that if enough Americans realized DC should have a vote in Congress, it will happen. Please contact me if you want to help. We need all the help we can get!

    Keep on bloggin!

I was just at a book signing event for this guy Dan Ho, who is a really cool up and coming media guy (sort of the hero for folks who don’t subscribe to the “perfect” home/garden/food, etc.) Someone in the crowd asked him what his favorite food was. He said Dunkin Donuts!
Anyway,,,you guys should check out his magazine site, RESCUE MAGAZINE

I saw the new DD teevee commercial spot for Apple Pie and said to myself - the Dunky Donuts guy is gonna be all over this - but I guess I’ll have to wait. any way, I was in a DD on Route 23 in or near Verona NJ in the late 1970’s and there was a customer that was so huge (how huge was he?) he was so frickin’ huge THE MAN WAS SITTING ON TWO STOOLS AT ONE TIME. No doubt his friends called him Tiny. Wish I had a camera. Dan at tranth.blogspot.com/

Wow. Dunkin Donuts. I thought they were extinct. Or that KK bought them all out or something. I have such fond memories of Dunkin Donuts. My mom would drag me to the laundrymat and I would wander around outside. If I behaved, she’d let me go next door into Dunkin Donuts and get a goodie. Apple Fritters and milk, hoo yeah!

Why… All I can say is why? Why do you like Dunkin donuts so much? Has it made you rich. Has it enriched your life? I just don’t get it. I go to Starbucks all the time but I don’t dedicate a Blog site to it. I think some explanation is due…

What an absolute waste of time this site is. Why a site dedicated to a corporation?? - one that advocates consumption of fattening foods in a country of incredibly high obesity levels. and one that trades on coffe for the troops of a country that is implicid in the deaths of so many civilians of another country.
