NBC reports that the manager of a Dunkin’ Donuts store in Yonkers, New York, has drawn fire from the company’s corporate office because he ordered his employees only to speak English, a move that he said was prompted by customer complaints.

The manager, who happens to be a 20-year-old immigrant from Ecuador, said that shoppers "were complaining about my employees speaking Spanish in front of them, saying that was disrespectful."

The company said that the order was inappropriate, and some customers also complained, saying that it was disrespectful to the shop’s employees.

The manager said that none of the store’s employees – which include five Hispanic workers, one Egyptian, one Filipino and one American – complained about the order.

1) the ALWAYS long lines. no kidding at least a ten minute wait
2) the inablity of the counter staff to process your order correctly
3) and witnessing a staff person WIPING HIS NOSE WITH HIS HAND AND THEN GOING TO MAKE MY COFFEE WITHOUT WASHING FIRST.

sorry, i am done with dd's! ALL dd's! i doubt anyone from dd's corporate office even cares as i know they dont pay the counter staff much, and it is hard work, but cmon, I spend at least 20.00 a week on coffee's there. they just lost my money. switching to water, better for me
