I work in downtown Chicago, and there are plenty of other coffee shops within walkind distance from my office that use paper cups. There is at least one shop that goes even further and uses and "eco cup" that is made from sustainable materials and completely decomposes within a year. The problem for me is that I just loooove DD coffee for some weird reason. So, I have my own reusable cup that I take over there to have filled. If I happen to forget my cup, then I usually go to a different coffee shop that doesn't use styrofoam. It is definitely time for Dunkin’ Donuts to switch to paper cups. Do any DD managers know? Also, what about DD's politics? I once read that they gave most of their allowable contribution funding to Republicans so I avoided it as I know Starbucks is Democrat. I have often thought it was incrediabley unenviromently friendly for such a large company to use styrofoam cups. I am going to bring it to the head of my franchise and see what the response is.
