Dunkin Brands Inc. has added a new limited-time-offer breakfast sandwich to the menu at its Dunkin Donut restaurants, the company announced this week.

The Maple Cheddar Sandwich combines scrambled eggs with a maple-flavored sausage patty, topped with a slice of melted white cheddar cheese and served on a croissant. The sandwich will be available though March 11.

According to a news release, the company saw a more than 10 percent increase in sales for breakfast sandwiches in 2006.
