I got an email over the weekend from Merlin "Duke" Snyder of Indianapolis asking for a petition to bring more Dunkin Donuts to Indianapolis right away.
...I want to share with you that obviously, in my opinion, Indianapolis is literally if not figuratively starving for Dunkin Donuts!
I can tell you that I have averaged at least 2 phone inquiries per month these past 2 years asking, among several different questions, if we are open 24/7!
Just wanted to share with you that although my survey is totally unscientific I can tell you that if, and I DO NOT HAVE, I had the financial resources needed to open locations in the metro Indianapolis market I am 99% certain I would jump to do so.Feel free to show this email to any prospective developer.

Hi Scott. I work with Dunkin’ Donuts’ PR agency. I just thought you might like to know, if you don’t already, that Dunkin’ Donuts announced last month plans to enter the Indianapolis region with approximately 80 new restaurants over the next several years, with the first stores opening as soon as August. Since people are talking about Indy and ‘The Donut’ I figured I’d mention …
A Dunkin Donuts has opened in Carmel this morning. Located just north of 116th on Range Line Rd, they will be open 24/7, and when I went there this morning (apart from the circus surrounding the opening which seemed way out of place) I discovered that there’re 2 more on the way. Just so the indy folks’ll know.

I love Dunkin’ Donuts. Louisville has them and they beat “Krispy Airfluff” all to pieces!..I live on the eastside of Indy….

I can’t wait! I have been eating Dunkin Donuts for 50 years, since growing up in NJ, and was shocked when I moved to Indy two years ago to find there were none here. You can keep your KK’s, I’m a Dunkin Fool! I just want to know when they’ll open near Fountain Square or the U of Indianapolis area. I’ll probably end up driving 25 minutes to the new Cambry location until then. Josh, feel free to email me that information.
I just made a run to the Dunkin Donuts at route 67 and Camby Road, It was great. I grew up in the Chicago area and my hubby in Pennsylvania, we both miss Dunkin. I just heard a report about a downtown location, can’t wait.
