Today (March 20th, 2008) at approximately 9:30AM I entered your store at the New City NY (10956) location.

I was served (if you could call it that) by a young man with a green shirt who wore a name tag of ‘Phil’. This young man was impatient, uncaring and acted as if I was annoying him by placing an order. My wife and I were ordering breakfast for ourselves and my parents to-go; as my parents are elderly and can not really go out on their own. We ordered about $25 worth of breakfast food and coffee. It was very disturbing to me that this ‘Phil’ acted as if we where annoying him by placing this order and that he handled himself in such a way as if he did not want to be there. Not only was he unhelpful and arrogant to us, but while we waited for our order, other employees asked him to help them by doing a few tasks and he was just as arrogant to them and told them ‘NO’ that he would not do what they asked. It was very busy with many customers at this time and the ‘task’ that was asked to him by another employee was something simple like ‘can you get more large cups’ or something along those lines. He arrogantly told them ‘No’ and unfavorably went about his business.
I used to be a ‘fan’ of Dunkin Donuts and their products, but I swear to you now that I will NEVER step foot in the New City NY (10956) branch again. Even though my parents live quite close to it, I will go out of my way to avoid it; all because this young man and his bad attitude. Whether he is a manger or just a regular employee, he represented your company in a very negative fashion and I hope that other customers have the same reaction as I.

By the way, New City NY (10956) is located within Rockland County, NY and I actually own and operate an Online Yellow Pages/Business Listings web site (geared specifically for Rockland County NY) called RocklandBusinesses.com (www.RocklandBusinesses.com). Even though the site is quite new and I put ‘Dunkin Donuts’ in the ‘Coffee Shops’ category for free as a ‘courtesy listing’, I will be removing it to promote other local coffee shops that don’t have arrogant employees.
