I am an AVID Starbucks customer, and former employee. I am taking a marketing class at the moment, and just read a quote from a DD analyst stating that a new strategy will remain to taget the "average Joe", not a "Starbucks Snob"!! This offends me, I am NOT a snob, nor are a great majority of Starbucks' consumers. We are REAL coffee drinkers, not just drinking for a quick fix, we enjoy AND appreciate a great cup of coffee, and personally any other cup of coffee, is just that, a cup of coffee, no intense aromas, nothing to excite your pallette.
I was at the grocery store the other morning, and ALMOST bought Dunkin grounds, just to see what its all about, and im glad I didnt! Judging from the quotes in my textbook, If anyones customers are snobs, its dunkins...as well as their employees!!!
