I spoke with the PR Director for the AMA Boston chapter this morning and she informed they are having an event around Dunkin’ Donuts coming up next month. It looks like a pretty cool event with a great opportunity to hear about Dunkin’ Donuts marketing, PR and brand management directly from Dunkin’ Donuts themselves.

Here is the info on the event. I would love for someone in the Boston area to write a short synopsis of the event and what they thought of Dunkin’ Donuts struggles and future strategies. If someone from the Boston area would be willing to do this, DunkinDonutsTalk.com would be willing to pick up their attendance fee.

Good afternoon fellow Dunkin’ Donuts lovers. I got an email last week from a long time Dunkin’ Donuts lover who is looking for a large Dunkin’ Donuts mug from about 1984. She had been looking for one on eBay, but she hasn’t been able to find it.

She describes the mug as: 1984 [possibly] “big one coffee mug.”

If anyone can help her track this item down, please post a comment where she can find it or email me and I’ll pass the information along to her. Hopefully someone in the DD community out there can help!
